Good and Evil.

An angry serpent shows its evil fangs just to defend her offspring. A terrorist bombs the railroads to get back his old freedom from the opposing force. Good and evil are not opposites. They are not even mere set of relatives. They are the siblings of the same mother. They spring from a single source. No, even this undermines their association. The emotionless evil is instigated by the incandescence of the inherent good. A refracted ray from the glittering good on the mirror of 'me and mine' marks the emergence of evil. It is the gaiety in the glaring goodness which garbs the attire of affliction to emanate as evil. Evil can never be the source of something good, but it is always the other way around. It is the spark from this goodness when passing through the crystal of ego, results in the spectrum of virtues and vices, which we call 'nature'. It is from this good that God originates, devoid of a 'o' - representing the origin of evil.

"Ondrukku unava irukkardhu, innondrukku nanja irukku!!"
a nice saying.
Everything exists as one!, and based on our selfish ends, we deem it either as good or evil. Even the rains floods fire, even tsunami, is called a 'Natural Disaster', which i used to wonder why?

Dear Kasthuri,

Dhyootham Chalayathaamasmi
I am the dicing of the deceitful..

(kindly note that the Pandavas suffered because of the dice-game)

SARVAM SRIKRISHNAARPANAMASTHU!

@ parvati :

1. I meant, its the in built happiness (probably a mis-directed one) in the good which clothes itself in the form of suffering to cause the evil. Generally we believe evil causes suffering. That's true for the victim. But for the person who commits evil, it is the suffering which causes the evil. The suffering is the difficulty he undergoes in reconciling between the good and the bad.

2. When you take an 'o' from good you get god. That 'o' symbolizes the origin of evil which God is devoid of.

Kasthuri,
As always can't resist the temptation to refer 'Summa Theologica'.

There can not be a single action in the world without a 'good' - nothing will happen, if the perpetrator does not bel. it will bring 'good' to him.

It is totally a different 'matter of mind' that what is good to one is evil to the other.

The example cited is 'fire' and 'water' - fire cooks food, water gets food - good and good - but water destroys fire !! good and evil :-)
