It Rains

Now that Rita is going to torment us like anything, let me pose this question.

When we say 'it rains', what does 'it' refer in the phrase ? Rita rains may be ?!!

Dear Kasthuri,

J.Krishnamurthi is one of my favoutite philosophers as well. however I am sorry to inform you that he is no more- passed away in 1986. his books live on and enlighten (confound as well) several people?!
I find his philosophy interesting but not the way in which it is conveyed- besides there are some peculiar flaws as well. however he is simply wonderful in carrying out conversations with the purpose of negotiating understanding.

SARVAM SRIKRISHNAARPANAMASTHU!

Intersting :)
The 'It' refers to the Noun Rain. Rather than saying 'Rain Rained'!

Squeezing hard to find another similar phrase!!

The pic is nice :D

LOL! @ agni's comment. But perhaps IT refers to life in agni's comment.

Srini - take care and stay dry.

We say "It rains" because the good way of making communications is to speak sentences rather than blurting out some words.

IT is terrible to have hurricane Rita in Texas. Hope we do not have big losses.

@ Anand : Oh, by getting in touch with JK, I meant his philosophy. I kinda know he is no more. I have just started to listen to him. Is he a theist ? Or what are his views on religion ?

@ tj : That was really enlightening. Nice explanation tj. Thanks.

@ agni : LOL :-) Thanks for the update. Really enjoyed it.

@ tt : I also think, it mostly refers to life in that phrase.

@ paavai : mmm...interesting thought.

@ ganesh : :-)

@ satyaus : The way Rita turned out to be, I could have had a margarita on the Galveston beach.

@ arvind : What to do, IT is my ignorance !!

@ lavanya : See tj's comments.

@ whoami : Thanks again for wonderful comments. I have started out on JK. I'll e-mail u seperately on this.

@ krishna : Hope u are safe in Lafayette. How was Rita experience ?

@ Ravi : Thanks for commenting. The first thought says so and generally the first thought is not wrong unless it is something very trivial.
